We had a great stay! Overall I rate this stay 5* and I would recommend it. Started off badly looking for parking though heavy roadworks at Edinburgh, but eventually with map from very helpful guy who worked at reception we found it. Check in - smooth like always at Hilton, water got delivered to the room which is nice. Room was nice with two double beds, plenty of space not too small, nice bathroom really happy with it! Room was very clean to start with. Only downside was housekeeping that was under the cosh of being shot staff so service was falling a bit short too but we managed our three nights stay and got all basic essentials we needed. Breakfast service was fantastic, very busy and everyone was striving to maintain highest standards. Food was really good 👍 If I could I would give more stars for that! 😋

Came here for the first time. The Hotel was excellent. Staff really welcoming and helpful. The room was big and spacious plenty for two people. The breakfast was excellent the best breakfast I've tasted at a hotel. Definitely recommend to others to try you won't be disappointined. The gym facilities were excellent to. Also great location next to the Royal mile

Having previously stayed at many, many Hilton hotels in the country, the Edinburgh is definitely one of my top 3. We arrived from London and the receptionists ensured that our bags and luggage were put away safely until our suite was ready. We were advised that they were running about an hour late for check-ins, but all was not a problem as we were chauffeured up to the lounge/restaurant on the first floor. We ordered a selections of items on the menu and all were absolutely scrumptious. We ate at this restaurant for a quick bite/lunch almost every day of our stay. Once our suite was ready we was then notified by a reception staff whom kindly visited us in the lounge/restaurant area. Once finished eating, we was ten chaffered to our suite. On arrival we were absolutely amazed with the presentation of the room and how clean it was, everything was spotless. We ordered a birthday package, so therefore the room was decorated amazingly in banners and balloons and an amazing, delinquent, plush red velvet chocolate cake was presented on the dressing table. The beds were a delight to sleep on and all the facilities within the room were operating as expected. The breakfast is served between 06:30-11:00, it is amazing, the breakfast staff are really helpful and open-minded people to talk to. The location of the hotel is amazing, it couldn’t be better. It is located on the Royal Mile, which has loads of lovely independent and dependent chains. If you’re looking for a perfect stay in Edinburgh, I would highly recommend staying here, at the Hilton Edinburgh Carlton.
