Just back from a 4 night stay at this hotel, the staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The trip was to celebrate my Mums milestone birthday and it all went smoothly. The hotel is ideally located a short walking distance from most attractions. Breakfast was a little different to what we are used to but was fine, the only small comment to make is if ordering toast you get it with cereal so its cold by the time you get to eat it, but this didn’t spoil our stay or breakfast and we made allowances for this due to the situation, we were just glad to be there. All of the staff were lovely, professional and helpful. Nothing too much trouble. have stayed in other Ibis Styles and this is certainly one of the best. Hope to return sometime in the future, if you are thinking of staying here you will not regret it.

Excellent room, myself and two of my friends stayed in a family room. Double bed and a single and the double must has have a been super king !Room immaculate. Breakfast even though advertised as continental still had sausage ,bacon , beans and array of cereals etc. Excellent location and views lovely. Definitely stay again

Great large family room with view to square. Handy for bus, train and most sight seeing in city. Staff were really efficient and helpful. Food in restaurant was delicious. Continental breakfast in morning was plentiful.. on arrival we had a Birthday card and balloon left for my husband.. thoughtful touch 😊 😃

A perfect rest stop for a weekend visit to Edinburgh. In the middle of attractions this hotel is modern, environmentally responsible and offers a great continental breakfast. Located close to the tram and bus stop that will take you direct to the airport. Friendly staff, clean rooms.

So far, it has been a lovely little hotel tucked away in the heart of Edinburgh. For its price, this is a must have for being slap bang in the centre of the city. The room is spacious enough and the balcony room does have a good view on the east side. The bed is comfortable and the air-conditioning for the room makes both the hot nights we've stayed here as well much more bearable. The buffet breakfast was more than welcome to have, as nothing is better to start the day than with bacon and pancakes with orange juice on the side. The addition of some warm foods such as porridge really puts the buffet food above some of the other hotels breakfasts I've been to.
